Job Description

The Maternal Infant Unit is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients during labor and delivery, as well as postpartum and newborn care. The unit features 24 beds and operates with a dedicated team of 71 staff members, ensuring a supportive environment for both patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery of patients, including supporting vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Provide care for antepartum patients and assistance in newborn and postpartum care.
• Utilize GE fetal monitors and maintain accurate electronic medical records via Meditech and CPN.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of labor experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years of labor experience in an LDRP setting with high birth volumes.

  BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification.
