Position: LVN/LPN / LVN/LPN / Virginia / Any / Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) Job
Location: Rustburg

Adelphi is seeking Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to provide services at multiple correctional facility in Virginia.

  • LPN (Night Shift)
  • Week 1: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and 1 x 4-hour shift
  • Week 2: 2 x 12-hour shifts and 2 x 8-hour shifts (includes every other weekend)
  • LPN (Evening Shift)
  • Weekdays: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM / 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Day Shift (Every 3rd Weekend): 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Rate: $26-$32.40/hr (Pay rate will be determined by the facility based on qualifications and experience)
Requirements:
  • Active Virginia license
  • CPR Certification
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
  • Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions and side effects.
  • Record patients medical information and vital signs.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients condition.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
  • Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients responses and conditions.
  • Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
  • Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition.
  • Comply with all state requirements and facility policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned by facility.
