Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team in Shenandoah, VA. Job type:
Permanent. As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in need of urgent medical attention.

• Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the Emergency Department
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical history
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Document all care provided in an accurate and timely manner
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and work efficiently in high-stress situations
• Knowledge of electronic medical record systems
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
