Registered Nurse; RN

Overview

Loyal Source is looking for Registered Nurses for night shift employment opportunities at the Deerfield Correctional Center in Capron, Virginia.

• Provide comprehensive professional nursing care and treatment to inmates.
• Conduct needs assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
• Apply principles and practices of professional registered nursing care acquired through formal education and training.
• Make contacts with patients, medical support staff, supervisory nurses, and physicians.
• Lead LPNs and direct medical service support staff.
• Use discretion and judgment frequently in patient assessment and case management.
• Receive guidance and direction from a nursing supervisor, manager, or medical professional.

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with an Associate degree in nursing or higher.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.

Pay: $33.00 – $51.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
