Registered Nurse

Responsibility:
The Registered Nurse is accountable for carrying out the nursing process which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, evaluation, patient/family satisfaction, documentation, and effective time management. The RN ensures quality communication, teamwork, leadership, and professionalism. She/he directs, coordinates, and implements patient teaching, quality and safety initiatives, and oversees activities of other health team personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

• Salary range: $34.00 – $48.00 per hour

• Associate’s in Nursing (RN Diploma, ASN, or ADN) – required
• Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) – preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of Healthcare/Medical Case Manager and/or Home Health experience – preferred

• RN license required (Virginia or West Virginia, either through Nurse Licensure Compact or a single state license)
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) – required
• Relevant specialty certification for practice area – preferred

• Competent in providing care across cognitive, physical, emotional, and developmental stages of human growth
• Competent in applying the nursing process to patient care
• Reliable means of phone communication with the hospital
