Family Nurse Practitioner ( FNP ) – Bon Secours Heathsville Family Practice (Heathsville, VA)

Location: Heathsville, VA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM

Setting: Outpatient Family Medicine

Bon Secours Heathsville Family Practice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our collaborative, patient-centered care team. We serve a diverse community of patients—from newborns through adulthood—providing comprehensive primary care that emphasizes prevention, wellness, and long‑term relationships.

• Patient Population: Newborns to 21+
• Average Patients/Day: 18–22
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Call: Shared among 10+ providers (weekday 5p–7a; weekend Friday 5p–Sunday 6p)
  • Call limited to urgent adult issues only
  • No medication refills or controlled substances management
  • Average 1–10 calls per shift
• Virtual Health: Optional MyChart virtual visits for routine, follow‑up, and acute care

• Provide full‑spectrum primary care, including routine, acute, and wellness visits
• Manage chronic diseases and coordinate care with specialists
• Perform in‑office procedures such as:
  • Cryotherapy, incision & drainage, wound suturing, and management
  • Optional:
    Pap smears/pelvic exams, punch biopsies, intra‑articular injections
• Supported by a dedicated team of CMA/LPNs (1:2 support ratio)

• Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (FNP)
• Licensure: NP license in Virginia (or eligibility)
• Certification: Current BLS required
• Experience: New graduates welcome; experienced providers preferred
