The Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Augusta Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our close-knit team on an 8 bed unit. Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, the RN oversees the care of patients recovering from a variety of conditions including CVA, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and other debilitating conditions. Our friendly and compassionate professional team helps patients relearn or improve daily living skills to achieve their highest level of independence.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate knowledgeable and caring, holistic clinical practice along with positive care coordination with patients, families, physicians and other clinical disciplines. We currently have a Full-time 7p-7a Registered Nurse (RN) position open on our Inpatient Rehab unit. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the coordination of direct patient care, education, and serves as a leader of the patient care team. The RN will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care.

Requirements

• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience required
• ADN required, BSN preferred
• BLS certification required
• Positive attitude, with enthusiasm for caring for our community
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
