IAD Delivery Driver

Job Duties

• Responsible for all aspects of catering up to and including loading equipment on to the truck, driving the truck to the A/C, loading galleys according to customer guidelines, offloading dirty equipment, and placing dirty equipment and trash in designated area
• Other duties assigned by management.

• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold environment
• Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand for entire work shift
• Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
• Must be able to pass a 10 year FBI criminal background check to obtain airport SIDA/AOA badge
• Must follow all Ramp, and AOA, Safety and Security Rules and Regulations
• Must have the ability to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift up to 30lb
• Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
• Ability to interpret and comprehend Menu and Flight Galley Specifications
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Must successfully complete on-the-job driver training program
• Must possess interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a professional appearance and attitude
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must be able to apply safety standards
• Must be able to use mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment
• Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays which is subject to change due to shift bidding
• Must have an excellent disciplinary record
• Must have at least 3 months of Company seniority
