Logistics Specialist (Material Handler/Delivery Driver)

The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or timely customer delivery, including unloading and staging of products at the customer’s business location. The LS represents Tire Hub professionally in all customer interactions, maintains safe driving practices, delivers exceptional customer service, and fosters strong customer relationships.
This position has a starting wage of $18.65 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over your first year of employment.
Working hours:
Monday through Saturday – fluctuating day shift hours.

This position reports to an Assistant TLC Leader.

- Responsible for distribution of tasks including general warehousing, delivery services, vehicle maintenance.
- Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles.
- Follows Tire Hub safety standards with selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders and positioning them in designated locations using the bin locator system.
- Operates equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks while following safety protocols.
- Conducts and participates in cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of inventory control procedures.
- Collects payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.
- Ensures vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition.
- Conducts pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections daily and immediately reports operational issues or mechanical defects.
- Completes driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly.
- Ensures compliance with all Tire Hub policies and procedures.
- Makes ongoing training through in‑class, in‑person, or computer‑based modules as assigned.

- At least 1 year of general work experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving history with a valid driver's license (excluding permit).
- 19 years old or older.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, pull, push, and/or move tires up to 50 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance.
- Capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting.
- Multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Accurately and efficiently load, unload and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles.
- Work up to 35 feet above ground level.
- Work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift.
- Follow traffic rules and regulations while safely driving Tire Hub vehicles to customers.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Manifest, GPS, and navigation systems.
- Maintain forklift certification.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
