FT Truck Driver - DC20 role at ADUSA Distribution
. Join ADUSA Transportation, the transportation arm of Ahold Delhaize USA. Deliver fresh and nonperishable products, support sustainability by returning recyclable items.

Location:

6500 Enterprise Drive, Virginia (Store DC20).

Safely deliver grocery and perishable products to company stores as scheduled and transport backhauls to distribution centers.

• Operate tractor trailer safely while maintaining company driving performance standards.
• Assist in unloading deliveries at stores.
• Follow proper pre‑trip procedures as required by DOT regulation 392.7.
• Maintain and follow all proper delivery and pick‑up paperwork and procedures.
• Maintain all D.O.T. paperwork and qualifications.
• Verify proper count and condition of loads at all backhaul, for‑hire and relay (compound) locations.
• Verify proper operating condition of equipment.
• Recommend procedural or process modifications to increase efficiency, productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with Delhaize America standards for accuracy, safety and productivity.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Minimum 1 year of tractor‑trailer driving experience (waivable if graduate of an approved truck‑driving school with certificate of completion).
• No more than one moving violation in the last 3‑year rolling period.
• Knowledge of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and Transportation Logistics.
• Knowledge of proper use of equipment.

• Reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 70 lbs.

• Previous tractor‑trailer driving experience.
• Knowledge of all D.O.T. regulations.
• Excellent driving skills.
• Good communication, verbal and written skills.
• Ability to pass and meet all D.O.T. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook and D.O.T. physical and drug screen requirements.
