Gym Monitor

The Tuckahoe Family YMCA is currently seeking part time responsible individuals to oversee gymnasium services and activities. We are looking for an individual to work nights and weekends. This part time position starts at $13.00 per hour and must be 21 or over.

• Oversee overall gymnasium services, including special projects as assigned.
• Maintain gymnasium maintenance, inventory of equipment, and set‑up and breakdown of events.
• Maintain surveillance during games, activities, and member participation.
• Facilitate seating and set‑up for gym rental, as necessary.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with members and staff.

• Service‑oriented, role model with a member‑first attitude who can recognize and respond to unsafe situations.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, use a computer, telephone and related business equipment.
• Effective communication skills with others.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
