Wellness Director

Under the guidance of the Operations Director, the Wellness Director is responsible for guiding members in the pursuit of improved well-being, by delivering health and wellness options that will support them on their wellness journey. The Director will build a team to best deliver those options, to include: personal training, innovative programming, group fitness for all levels and ages, on-boarding and retention of members, outreach in the local community and healthy living engagements.

The Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Wellness Center, including the training and supervision of Wellness Coaches and Personal Trainers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating and conducting member orientations, addressing member complaints, resolving problems, maintaining cleanliness of the Wellness Center and assisting in preventative maintenance of equipment. Additionally, the Wellness Director will assist with day-to-day operations of the YMCA as needed, attend and assist with fundraisers and special events, and assist with the Annual Support Campaign.

The Wellness Director must be willing to work flexible hours to meet the needs of members, to include some nights and weekends.
