Responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers and patrons at a pool, beach, or aquatic facility. Monitors activities, enforces safety rules, and responds quickly to emergencies. Provides first aid, CPR, and rescue assistance when needed. Maintains cleanliness and inspects equipment to ensure a safe environment.
Position LIFEGUARDA lifeguard is responsible for the general supervision and safety of patrons of an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Lifeguards are superior swimmers who are able to give advice on water safety to patrons, conduct swift water rescues and control unruly behavior if necessary.
