Lead Automation/ Framework Engineer Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with 12+ years of experience to drive and enhance our testing efforts with the Client's new internal platform and applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Selenium, Playwright, C#, Java, .NET, and Azure Dev Ops as well as experience with Generative AI. This role requires a 50/50 split between leadership responsibilities and hands‑on scripting.

- Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, guiding best practices and automation strategies.
- Define and implement test strategies, frameworks, and processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including developers, product managers, and Dev Ops teams, to drive quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Drive test planning, estimation, and execution while ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Monitor test progress, identify risks, and provide mitigation plans to stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, C#, and Java.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing for web and enterprise applications.
- Identify, debug, and report defects, ensuring quick resolution in collaboration with development teams.
- Explore and leverage Generative AI to test automation and improve efficiency (if applicable).
- 12+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
- Strong expertise in Selenium, Playwright, C#, Java, and .NET.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops for CI/CD and test integration.
- Experience with Generative AI in test automation.
- Hands‑on experience with API testing and performance testing tools.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of cloud‑based testing strategies and tools.
- Exposure to security and accessibility testing.
