Job Description

As a Software Engineer II at Honeywell, you will contribute to the development of innovative software solutions using Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, and REST API technologies. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and work from our Richmond, VA location on a hybrid schedule. Your impact will be felt in the design and implementation of high‑performance software applications that meet our customers’ needs.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications using Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Spring Boot REST API.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and define software specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development focused on Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Spring Boot with REST API.
• Strong understanding of Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Proficiency in front‑end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems and agile development methodologies.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline (STEM).
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for learning new technologies and improving existing skills.
