Critical Environment Technician - Level 3
Location: Dulles, VA
Schedule: Flexible shifts (12 hour, rotating, 3/4/5 day workweeks)
About the RoleWe're looking for a highly skilled Critical Environment Technician to support operations in a high-availability, mission‑critical facility. This role is ideal for a technician who thrives in fast‑paced environments, understands the importance of redundancy and uptime, and is ready to take ownership of complex mechanical and electrical systems.
You’ll work hands‑on with chilled water systems, CRAH units, electrical infrastructure, and building management systems to ensure continuous, reliable operation. If you’re motivated, safety‑focused, and ready to grow your technical career, we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do- Execute all tasks outlined in CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 responsibilities.
- Perform Method of Procedure (MOP) tasks for:
- Chiller systems
- Chilled water pumps
- Computer room air handlers (CRAH)
- All performed under "N" level redundancy conditions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain building management and EPMS systems.
- Support electrical system operations in high‑availability environments such as data centers, refineries, hospitals, or manufacturing facilities.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, documentation standards, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure uptime, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Required: OSHA or OSHA‑approved NFPA 70E Certification.
- Required: 5+ years of hands‑on experience in technical fields (electrical, controls, automotive, data center, or similar).
- Required: Experience working with electrical systems in critical infrastructure environments.
- Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Required: Ability to work flexible schedules, including 12‑hour or rotating shifts.
- Required: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Preferred: EPA Refrigerant License.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, redundancy concepts, and safety protocols.
- Ability to follow detailed MOPs and respond effectively in high‑pressure situations.

This is a Contract position based out of Dulles, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
