• Inspects, tests, troubleshoots and repairs electrical circuits and electronic equipment under the guidance and direction of an experienced electrician or supervisor.
• Performs standardized duties and tasks using hand tools and testing instruments.
• Isolates defects in wiring, switches, monitors and other electrical equipment using testing instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter etc.
• Replaces faulty switches, sockets and other elements of electrical systems.
• May dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts and related fixtures into position and completes circuits according to diagram specifications.
• Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures and instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Respects and works safely around power plant equipment to safeguard personnel and equipment. Maintains a neat, clean shop and work area to enhance the working environment.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
• Individual will be part of the emergency response organization and some travel (for periods of up to a month or more) may be required to support other station outages. Must obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear access.

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014, Section 4.5.7.1 Electrical Maintenance and 4.5.7.2 Mechanical Maintenance.
• Related experience 1 year.

Wage $24.61/hour
