Position OverviewThe Landscape Team Leader is an experienced team member working in the Landscape division of the company. The primary function of the Landscape Team Leader is to direct the activities of two or more team members on a job. The Landscape Team Leader is able to operate a variety of equipment and has basic horticultural knowledge. They have advanced knowledge in landscape means, methods, techniques, and works with minimal supervision.
JobFunctions
- Landscape bed installation and maintenance
- Pruning: horticulturally correct tree/shrub/perennial pruning and dead heading
- Plant health: identify, diagnose, and treat plant health issues regarding diseases and insects
- Irrigation: proper installation, controller programming, minor irrigation repairs, and seasonal adjustment
- Water features تبحث صور habe correct language, care & maintenance of pumps, aquatic plants, water chemistry, and fish
- Lighting: proper installation of low-voltage lighting systems, controller programming, repair and replacement of lighting system components
- Drainage: installation of drainage pipe, drain boxes, drainage channels, dry creek beds, and swales

- Watering: new install plant and turf watering
- Plant installation: plant identification, bed preparation, proper plant installation, layout, care and maintenance
- Spring clean‑ups: bed cleanout, bed edging, pre‑emergent, plant fertilization, and mulch installation
- Retaining walls: installation using boulders and natural stone
- Stepping stones and steps: installation using natural stone
- Edging: installation of metal and cobblestone edging
- Utilities: how to call in a utility locate, update an existing ticket, and identify utility markings
- Blowing: using handheld or backpack blower to blow off all hard surfaces
- Snow removal
- Any other tasks necessary.

The team member is expected to work the assigned hours at Southern Landscape Group from Monday through Friday as well as weekends & overtime as dictated by seasonal needs. This is an hourly wage position with a normally expected workday of 6:50 AM until 5:00 PM.
