Pay Range: $23.11 - $24.89 Hourly, depending on experience

Schedule: 9:30 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., Sunday night through Thursday night

The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic completes scheduled and non-scheduled work as directed by the building maintenance supervisor, including but not limited to plumbing, facility electrical, carpentry, HVAC, flooring, roofing, masonry, repairs to loading docks, painting, overhead doors, cleaning, boiler repair and maintenance, restocking paper products, and recycling equipment maintenance.

• Upkeep and update lighting in the facility, including re-lamping, troubleshooting, installing, and repairing fixtures
• Maintain and upgrade plumbing systems, including cleaning drains, installing and troubleshooting fixtures, and repairing drain pans
• Perform general carpentry, including installation of partitions, dry‑wall repair, finish carpentry, and painting
• Conduct masonry repairs on forklift damage, patch concrete floors and walls, and pour concrete bollards
• Perform electrical work by installing commercial wiring, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial wiring
• Perform HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC systems
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, security, and fire alarm systems

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge acquired through 1 to 3 years of work experience
