Sam's Club is hiring a dedicated Asset Protection Associate to work the 2nd shift (15:30‑01:30) across all distribution centers and fulfillment centers. The role focuses on ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of our facilities, protecting assets, and supporting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and enforce asset protection policies, practices, and guidelines.
- Support facility security staff, monitor and maintain access‑control equipment, and conduct security audits.
- Maintain knowledge of environmental health and safety laws, OSHA guidelines, and food‑safety auditing processes.
- Identify and address health‑and‑safety hazards, support safety implementation, and coordinate emergency response plans.
- Prepare audit reports, manage incident investigations, and capture root‑cause data.
- Engage with stakeholders, communicate effectively, and provide insights and recommendations.
- Gather, interpret, and analyze data to produce reports and suggest automation opportunities.
- Support training initiatives, solicit participant feedback, and maintain training repositories.
- Promote environmental compliance, respond to regulatory inquiries, and contribute to environmental targets.
- Advise on process‑improvement strategies, understand SOPs/OBWs, and support cross‑functional collaboration.
- 6 months experience as a Walmart associate, or
1 year of work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or a security‑related field (e.g., Military, Public Safety, Criminal Justice).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and One Drive.
- Experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security.
Primary location: 6055 Quality Way, Prince George, VA , United States.
Shift: 15:30‑01:30 (Tuesday‑Friday, Sunday). Schedule details will be discussed during the interview process.

CompensationBase pay: $22.00‑$25.00 per hour, plus potential premiums ($0.35‑$3.00 per hour) based on schedule and job performance. Annual salary range for a similar role in the area: $97,300.00‑$ (Chief‑level review only, not directly tied to this position).
