As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist CRE in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries including Commercial Real Estate and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any suspicious or unusual activity.
• Document and communicate any incidents, maintenance issues, or hazards identified during patrols to appropriate personnel.
• Support access control procedures by verifying identification and assisting with visitor management as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and property management to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for tenants and guests.

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation per all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
