In the role of Safety and Security Officer working in Elkton, VA you will be part of the Brewery Safety team. You will be responsible for initiating and maintaining an overall safety and security program, monitoring building and grounds to determine security issues and potentially hazardous conditions or safety violations. You will also conduct periodic inspections of building, grounds, and equipment for hazardous conditions and/or safety violations as well as provide emergency medical attention and hazardous response support as required.
This position reports to the Safety Manager and partners with the Manufacturing Operations team to support adherence to all Molson Coors and governmental rules, regulations, policies, and programs related to safety and security.
- Initiating and maintaining overall safety and security program.
- Monitoring access of all visitors, vendors, and contractors to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
- Providing training to enhance understanding of company safety and security procedures.
- Providing first‑response medical support for accidents or injuries and follow‑up medical observation and/or treatment as needed.
- Contacting emergency services as needed to arrange support/transport to area emergency treatment facilities.
- Demonstrating a commitment to safety through participation in and support of Safety Management Practices (SMP) and other safety initiatives as identified.
- Emergency Medical Technician certification, required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in safety, security, or emergency response role or similar function.
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalency.
- Deep knowledge of company and governmental safety and environmental policies and regulations.
- A strong willingness to tackle challenges and complete complex projects quickly.

Salary range: $48,200.00 – $63,300.00 (posting salary range) + 5 % target short‑term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including health, dental, vision, retirement with above‑market employer match, wellness incentives, EAP, and paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
