What You’ll Do
  • Drive premium and policy growth by marketing personal lines insurance products to independent agencies within an assigned territory.
  • Build, strengthen, and leverage agency relationships to increase revenue and meet or exceed production goals.
  • Provide training and serve as a subject matter expert on product offerings, underwriting philosophy, and procedures.
  • Document agency interactions, manage reporting, and track production using CRM and analytics tools.
  • Analyze service issues, product gaps, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Attend networking events, conferences, and trade shows to support agency engagement and business development.
  • Monitor territory performance, identify underperforming agencies, and implement corrective or rehabilitation plans.
  • Provide ongoing territory analysis, trends, and recommendations to leadership to support strategic decisions.
  • Act proactively to resolve negative performance results and develop alternative plans when issues cannot be corrected immediately.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years in sales, marketing, underwriting, or a related insurance-focused role.
  • Prior experience managing a sales territory or agency relationships.
  • Strong relationship‑building abilities with agency decision makers, producers, CSRs, and support staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including group presentations.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Salesforce, Power BI, and other sales‑related tools.
  • Ability to analyze territory trends, interpret data, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Capacity to stay current on industry practices and translate new knowledge into team training and process improvements.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and results‑oriented.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; approximately 25% travel required, including occasional overnights.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing a designated territory.
