As a Sales Leader, you will generate income by farming and nurturing medium and large-market clients. Through the 1.800MD platform, you will help prospects and clients reduce costs and improve outcomes for their employees.

You will present 1.800MD’s comprehensive solutions to HR/Benefits decision-makers within corporations having between 500 and 8,000 employees. You will have a large geographic territory to support your success.

Given the ground-breaking nature of 1.800MD’s platform, you will enable your clients and their employees to achieve excellence in virtual healthcare solutions. You’ll introduce a compelling new approach to virtual care, including Telemedicine, Behavioral Health, Lab Testing, Wellness Coaching, Medical Bill Negotiation, etc., to help reduce costs and improve employee health.

Your Impact:

  • Create a personal sales strategy/business plan that aligns with 1.800MD’s corporate goals and strategies
  • Independently identify new sales opportunities; research target opportunities, generate account leads, and build a robust pipeline
  • Manage prospects through phone calls, webinars, in-person meetings, and travel
  • Build strong customer relationships with Consultants/Brokers and HR/Benefits leadership within medium and large corporate employers
  • Understand 1.800MD’s direct competitors and how we differentiate with our offering
  • Build and maintain a deep familiarity with 1.800MD’s offerings and future product enhancements
  • Stay current in the Virtual Healthcare environment and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Manage all RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and terms with support from sales leadership and legal through a complex contracting process
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to senior management

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a business-to-business sales environment. Experience with MGAs, MGUs, Insurance Brokers, and Consultants is preferred.
  • Experience effectively running a multi-state territory closing 500–8,000 employee employers
  • Strong prospecting, cold-calling, lead generation, and closing skills with a demonstrated ability to meet sales quotas
  • Proven track record of increasing sales through leadership and results
  • Skilled delivery of engaging sales and product presentations in medium and large group settings
  • Robust time management skills and ability to manage a pipeline
  • Excellent communication skills including presenting, speaking, writing, and follow-up
