Sales Representative - Richmond VA at ITG Brands

What You Will Do (Responsibilities)- Make sales to retailers, securing commitments to increase stock, place orders, expand shelf space, and participate in incentive programs.
- Identify opportunities to drive volume and market share in your assignment. Optimize coverage to meet or exceed objectives.
- Establish credibility and influence to promote company priorities.
- Seek insights from retail activities and report to strengthen the team and brand.
- Sell company products, programs, and promotions to retailers and develop selling plans that resonate with retailers.
- Demonstrate product and industry knowledge to effectively market and sell company products.
- Collaborate with division resources to identify sales opportunities.
- Be accountable for delivering assigned retail execution objectives and key company priorities.
- Develop and maintain strong retail partnerships, providing input to the Sales Manager on opportunities.
- Use the ITG Portal for reimbursement and tracking, sharing best practices with the Sales Manager.
- Report customer and competitive insights and perform any other job‑related duties assigned.
Required
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
- Verbal and written communication, attention to detail, problem‑solving, time management, multitasking, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Ability to make sales and obtain commitments, communicate broadly, maintain relationships, demonstrate critical thinking, work with diverse populations, and prioritize assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field with 1+ year sales experience.
- Residence within assignment boundary or pre‑approved mileage; willing to relocate.
- Moderate physical effort: lifting 10–50 lbs., bending, crouching, stretching, walking, standing for extended periods.
- Travel required based on assignment needs; occasional exposure to noise, dust, or weather.
- Prolonged use of vehicle and computer equipment.
