Countryside Veterinary Clinic, a small animal general practice in Henrico, VA, is looking to fill a newly created role:
Hospital Assistant.
As a hospital assistant, you will rotate through different roles in the clinic, including customer service representative, veterinary assistant, surgical assistant, and kennel technician.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring medical records are kept up to date.
- Invoicing clients.
- Clerical work.
- Answering phones, emails, and texts.
- Obtaining medical history and vitals.
- Restraint for doctors and veterinary technicians.
- Filling doctor-prescribed medications.
- Running lab samples in the clinic.
- Caring for boarders.
- Holding for vet techs to sedate surgical patients.
- Cleaning surgery areas and instruments, wrapping packs.
