Overview
Position: Veterinary Assistant
Schedule: Part-time
Location: Windy Hill Veterinary Hospital, Smyrna, GA
Windy Hill Veterinary Hospital is a AAHA-accredited veterinary practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality medical care. We value teamwork, patient safety, and consistent clinical standards.
Responsibilities- Assist during exams and procedures
- Safely restrain patients according to clinic protocols
- Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and supplies
- Clean and maintain medical equipment and clinical spaces
- Provide basic patient care, including monitoring and comfort care
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Veterinary assistant or animal handling experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and follow established protocols
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
