Licensed Veterinary Technician – Where General Practice Meets Urgent Care Excellence at River Run Animal Hospital
Powhatan, VA | Full-Time or Part-Time
We’re currently looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) who thrives in a fast-paced setting, values teamwork, and wants to grow both professionally and personally .
Pay
- $30–$35/hr Compensation based on experience
- Full-time 10-hour shifts available
- Part-time evening shifts until 8 PM are also open to.

Hours:
Mon–Fri 8 AM–8 PM | Sat/Sun 8 AM–5 PM - We’re flexible and happy to work with your availability—because balance matters
- Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgery
- Performing labs, blood draws, and diagnostics
- Supporting hospitalized patients with compassion and technical skill
- Providing clear and empathetic client communication
- Jumping into both general practice and urgent care cases
- Collaborating with a close-knit team to keep workflow smooth and patient care exceptional
- A Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) with strong clinical confidence
- Experienced in surgery, anesthesia, labs, and client communication
- Adaptable and accountable—able to handle a variety of cases with poise
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment without losing your smile
