Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Ehlers Danlos Center
Provides direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and other medical professionals. Focuses on assisting patients with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and reporting changes in patient condition. Plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition
- Provide direct patient care under RN or LIP/RN designee supervision
- Support care plans and provide ongoing education to patients and families
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program
- No experience required, but strong communication and basic care skills preferred
- Licensed to practice as an LPN in the Commonwealth of Virginia prior to onboarding
- AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required
- Valid Virginia Driver's License (VADL) may be required
Physical Demands
Job may require standing for prolonged periods, frequent traveling, bending/stooping, lifting or pushing/pulling 20–50 pounds. Exposure to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease is possible.
Compensation
Position Compensation Range: $21.95–$34.02 hourly
