LPN Position

Overview

Valley Pediatric Group is hiring an LPN to join our growing team. If you're excited to be part of a practice that keeps kids healthy, this is the place to grow your career.

• Work with pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.
• Collect and record vital signs, such as blood pressures.
• Ensure that supplies, medications, and equipment are restocked and maintained so that they are ready to use.
• Administer medications as ordered and report adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Communicate openly and effectively with patients and families, while demonstrating compassion and friendly behavior.
• Supervise CCMA’s and Nursing Assistants.
• Phone triage.

No pediatric experience required (will train). Recent graduates welcomed.

• Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN nursing program.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with patients and families in a respectful, warm way.
• Ability to demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to demonstrate resilience in emotionally difficult situations.
• Must have proficient computer skills.

Office hours:
Monday–Thursday 7:40 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday 7:40 AM – 4:30 PM, one Saturday a month 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM (paid double-time for Saturdays).

Must be able to work at either location:
Waynesboro or Verona.
