COMMUNICATIONS & TRAINING ASSOCIATE DESCRIPTION
The Communications & Training Associate helps create and distribute internal and external resources across digital, print, and interactive formats while supporting company wide communication and training efforts. They co-host Welcome Day sessions, keep sales-facing tools up to date, and assist with managing the internal communications platform and social media presence. The Associate supports employee engagement events, maintains organized document and media assets, coordinates A/V needs for meetings, and contributes to other team projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Communications & Training Associate does the following.
- Supports creating, editing, and communicating internal and external company resources across digital, interactive, and print formats
- Co-hosts new hire “Welcome Day” sessions
- Helps manage IGF’s internal communications platform, supporting company wide campaigns and messaging
- Maintains IGF’s social media presence by posting content, monitoring platforms, and engaging with followers
- Contributes to developing content for company wide training material
- Keeps organized, up-to-date sales facing tools on Flipsnack
- Supports employee engagement initiatives and events
- Maintains an organized database via SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 applications for documents, design files, photos, and video assets, ensuring resources remain accessible and current
- Assists with A/V, PowerPoint, photography, and videography setup for meetings and events
- Contributes to the team by performing other work as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum one year of experience in communications, or a similar role
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Dynamics, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word; advanced knowledge of social media platforms
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) (preferred)
- Proven experience managing social media for a business profile
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills; experience with data entry
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) communications skills a plus
