Operations Manager – Fabrication & Manufacturing
Location: Northern Virginia (on-site)
Compensation: $100,000–$150,000 base + bonus

This role is ideal for an Operations Manager who has led fabrication-driven manufacturing environments and enjoys building structure, accountability, and performance in a fast-moving operation.

- Lead day-to-day fabrication and production operations across welding, sheet metal, and CNC machining
- Establish and drive KPIs including on-time delivery, efficiency, throughput, and waste reduction
- Implement lean manufacturing practices within a fabrication and build-to-order environment
- Improve production planning, workflow, and cross-functional execution
- Partner with procurement, logistics, quality, maintenance, and scheduling teams
- Develop supervisors and leads, building accountability and continuous improvement culture
- Proven operations leadership experience in fabrication-heavy manufacturing
- Hands-on background with welding, sheet metal, CNC, or complex assemblies
- Track record of implementing KPIs and driving operational performance
- Lean manufacturing experience in low-to-mid volume, high-mix environments
- Comfortable leading change and building structure where it’s needed
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or similar preferred. Equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.
- Base salary range: $100,000–$150,000 (flexible for exceptional candidates)
- Annual bonus opportunity (typically around 10%)
