Job Description

Club Car is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Certified Pre‑Owned (CPO) Production Scheduler & Materials Lead to support our growing CPO operations. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules while leading the materials planning and coordination required to support on‑time, efficient refurbishment and production output, as well as aftermarket support for on‑time delivery and customer order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will bridge production, materials, and supply chain functions—ensuring the right materials are available at the right time while driving schedule adherence, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Job Functions Production Scheduling
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate daily and weekly production schedules for the Certified Pre‑Owned operation.
  • Balance production capacity, labor availability, and material constraints to meet output targets.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and proactively adjust plans to address disruptions or changes in demand.
  • Partner with operations, quality, and engineering teams to support production flow and throughput.
Materials Leadership
  • Lead materials planning and coordination to support CPO production schedules and aftermarket demand.
  • Ensure timely availability of parts, components, and subassemblies required for refurbishment and aftermarket.
  • Monitor inventory levels, shortages, and excess; take corrective action as needed.
  • Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve material issues.
  • Support cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and material flow improvements.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a key liaison between production, supply chain, purchasing, and logistics teams.
  • Provide clear communication on schedule changes, material risks, and recovery plans.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost, and delivery performance.
Reporting & Systems
  • Track and report KPIs such as schedule adherence, material availability, inventory turns, and production output.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage schedules, material requirements, and reporting.
  • Support process standardization and system improvements.
Education / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in production scheduling, materials planning, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, refurbishment, or production environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Skilled in MAPICS systems, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, purchasing, and accounting/billing processes are a plus.
  • Must type 60 w.p.m. and possess the ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing.
Preferred
  • Experience in Certified Pre‑Owned, remanufacturing, or refurbishment operations.
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
  • APICS/CPIM or similar certification.

Physical Requirements
  • Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing throughout day.
  • Requires occasional lifting of objects less than 25 pounds as well as occasional lifting of objects 25 to 50 pounds.
  • Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles.
  • Requires use of protective clothing.
