** About the job
** As the
** Manufacturing Excellence Specialist
** within Opella’s Manufacturing & Supply Chain function, you will play a key role in the Manufacturing Excellence team to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site, embed Opella Performance System (OPS) tools and contribute to the strategic portfolio development of the site.
You will lead and deliver impactful projects that drive operational excellence, enhance product quality, and improve supply chain efficiency. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams and partnership with global Manufacturing Excellence, you will lead the continuous improvement and growth of the site and play a key role in championing an ‘outcome obsessed’ culture of CI.

* Main responsibilities:
*** Act as a core member of the
** Manufacturing Excellence Team**, driving site-wide improvement initiatives.
* Drive the implementation of the
** Opella Performance System (OPS)
** and associated initiatives at site level.
* Partner closely with
** Production, Supply Chain, and Quality
** teams to achieve and exceed site KPIs.
* ** Analyse production data to identify losses and trends**, enabling targeted improvement actions and data-driven decision-making.
* Lead
** equipment downtime reduction and yield improvement projects
** through close collaboration with Production and Engineering teams, ensuring sustainable reliability improvements.
* Lead
** Root Cause Analysis
** and structured problem-solving activities, embedding a **“Fix It Forever”
** mindset.
* Drive
** changeover optimization using SMED methodology**, reducing setup times and improving line efficiency through standardization and best practices.
** About you
***
* Education:
*** Relevant Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, etc.)
* Six Sigma Black Belt or similar certification preferred but not necessary.
*
* Experience:
*** Ideally 3-4 years minimum in a Manufacturing Continuous improvement role within the FMCG, or Pharmaceutical industry
** Technical
Skills:
**
* ** Operational Excellence System Expertise:
** Experienced in using operational excellence systems such as IWS or similar
* ** Data Analysis:
** Ability to interpret production data (OEE, downtime, plant cycle time) using Excel/Power BI
* ** Root Cause Problem-Solving:
** Proficient in A3, PDCA, Why-Why and Fishbone methodologies
* ** Lean/TPM Expertise:
** Skilled in SMED, 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
** Soft Skills**
* ** Influencing &
Collaboration:
** Strong ability to engage and align diverse teams without direct authority.
