Pay Range: $23.40 - $25.20 per hour

The Operator Manufacturing IV is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on assigned machines. They inspect parts, make adjustments or tool changes as necessary, and ensure quality specifications are met. The role also involves operating production equipment following established procedures, adjusting machine settings to complete tasks accurately, and serving as a peer leader for their assigned production line.
Responsibilities& Duties
- Perform pre‑operation activities on equipment to ensure proper startup and operation.
- Operate multiple pieces of equipment, monitor operation, perform setup and changeover, inspect parts, and make adjustments or tool changes to maintain quality specifications and minimize unplanned stops.
- Perform scheduled quality‑assurance tests following good manufacturing practices and communicate results with team members and support teams.
- Perform housekeeping activities and sanitations on production equipment.
- Provide training to new associates and lead peers by communicating tasks and giving instructions to ensure maximum quality and productivity.
- Operate equipment such as palletizing machines (more than 2 machines), stretch wrap machine, and the computerized pallet tag machine.
- Unload product from palletizing machines or load product directly into trailers using a RF tablet.
- Scan product while safely stacking it in warehouse bin locations.
- Technical, mechanical aptitude for initial basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to lead peers and desire to take on greater levels of leadership responsibility in the future.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs, stand on feet for prolonged periods, and climb stairs as needed.
- Weekend work will be required, including some holidays as scheduled to support customer demand.
- Equipment noise is elevated requiring hearing protection.
- Seasonal temperatures can be expected.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge acquired through 1 to 3 years of work experience.
