Active Top Secret (TS) The Microelectronics Subject Matter Expert will support a team of skilled researchers to help drive microelectronics advancement capabilities for the Department of Defense. As part of our team, you’ll serve as a strategic technical advisor to program managers supporting our Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) client, advising on advanced government-funded research and development programs. You’ll work with world-class scientists and engineers to provide strategic assessments of emerging technologies.
You will maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating the transition of program deliverables to DARPA stakeholders.
- Active and maintained “TOP SECRET” Federal or DoD security clearance
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- FIFTEEN (15) or more years of experience working with DARPA Programs and/or Program Managers
- FIVE (5) or more years of experience at a leading commercial electronic design automation provider
- Recognition from a professional society as a subject matter expert or thought leader (e.g., IEEE Senior Member)
- Demonstrated experience generating new business related to technical and advisory services
