About the RoleRadlink has a new opportunity for a Regional Business Manager to oversee the service delivery and operations of Radlink Communications in Queensland.
Reporting to Head of Operations this role is responsible for the regional performance against forecasted financial outcomes and ensuring the alignment with the organisation’s strategic goals. Collaboration with national and local teams is crucial to implement process improvements, allocate resources, and ensure consistent service quality. The Regional Business Manager also plays a key role in fostering a positive and motivated workplace culture, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, staff development, and client relationships.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to regional staff to ensure alignment with organisational goals and standards
- Manage performance of local managers and supervisors to ensure sufficient workforce and effective operational management
- Monitor regional performance against forecasted P&L, taking corrective action where necessary to meet financial objectives
- Provide regular reports to the Head of Operations on regional performance, financial status, and progress toward goals
- Work closely with national teams to implement standardised processes and practices that improve consistency and efficiency across the business
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on improving service quality, team performance, and operational effectiveness
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture within the region, ensuring team motivation and engagement
- Lead by example, promoting a zero-harm safety culture and ensuring adherence to safety standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and high client satisfaction
To be successful in this position, we are seeking candidates with:
- Tertiary qualification in Management or relevant demonstrated experience
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant management or supervisory experience in a similar environment
- Working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and governance principles related to the role and staff positions
- Extensive stakeholder management and engagement experience at a senior level
- Knowledge of Greentree reporting and MS Office applications
- Minimum three years practical experience in the communications industry (desirable)
- Highly skilled communicator capable of engaging and motivating diverse teams to deliver improved outcomes
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage a profit and loss centre
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across various levels of the business
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with Subcontractor Management (desirable)
- Understanding of SHEQ compliance across multiple disciplines
