Vice President Preconstruction – Data Center Construction (MEP) – Northern Virginia

Lead and manage the entire Preconstruction department, overseeing all estimation activities and personnel for prospective construction projects. This executive role is responsible for driving revenue growth by ensuring competitive, accurate, and timely project bids and deliverables.

• Strategic Estimation: Serve as the department head responsible for developing comprehensive and competitive cost estimations for all projects the company is bidding on.
• Preconstruction Management: Oversee all preconstruction deliverables, from initial proposal development through the final issuance of subcontracts and equipment purchase orders.
• Process Oversight: Direct the RFI and Submittal processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy throughout the preconstruction phase.
• Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new revenue-generating opportunities for the organization within the industry.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in the data center industry or a similar field.
• Leadership: Proven success in leading, growing, and scaling technical support and services teams in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Supervision: Demonstrable experience directly supervising and managing a team of 5 or more employees, including hiring, training, performance management, and conflict resolution.
