Position: Custodian – Second Shift
Location: Bland County Elementary School
Schedule: Second Shift (afternoon/evening hours)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Bland County Public Schools is seeking a reliable and motivated Second Shift Custodian for Bland County Elementary School
. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Salary Range: $26,618.00 - $41,520.00 per year
Duties and Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, cafeteria, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
- Empty trash and recycling and properly dispose of waste
- Restock restrooms and cleaning supplies as needed
- Assist with setup and cleanup for school events and activities
- Follow established safety, cleaning, and sanitation procedures
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Custodial or related experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
