Job Description
:
The Overnight Janitorial role provides the deep cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area at the airport.

Title: Overnight Janitorial

Pay Rate: 17.38 per hour

Location: Dulles International Airport

Job Classification: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Shift:

• 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Must be willing to work on Saturday, Sunday, and three weekdays for five consecutive days

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Notify the Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks
• Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water and cleaners
• Wash and replace blinds
• Gather and empty trash
• Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, or perform other incidental seasonal tasks
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge, and Customs Seal, including completion of a background check and ten-year work history
• Must be willing to work on Saturday, Sunday, and three days from the weekdays (total of 5 days)

For SIDA badge clearance purposes, you are required to bring the following documents:

• Identification with current address:
  State  Driver's License
• Citizenship Verification: US Citizens – US Passport or US Birth Certificate/Naturalization with SSN;
  Foreign Nationals – Green Card or Employment Authorization Document (EAD) with SSN Card if a green card is not available
• EAD categories fall under A10, A11, C08, C10; please see recruiters for details
