Overview

Embassy Suites by Hilton Crystal City is looking for a Part-Time Engineer to join the team. This 269-suite hotel is located near Reagan National Airport, Pentagon City, Crystal City Shops, and the Pentagon City Metro station. The team reports to the Complex Director of Engineering.

Shift Pattern: Part-Time 2-3 shifts per week. AM/PM availability required (weekdays, weekends, holidays as needed). Weekend availability required.

As an Engineer, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's ongoing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-the-house areas
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
• Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work, and masonry
• Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
• Record and report completed repairs and items requiring further attention
