SSC is hiring full‑time and part‑time Janitor positions at the New Kent County Schools location at 7501 Egypt Road, New Kent, VA 23124. Applications are accepted only online.

• Location: New Kent County Schools – 7501 Egypt Road, New Kent, VA 23124 (additional openings within the district will be available)
• Schedule: Full‑time and part‑time;
  Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (exact hours will be confirmed during interview)
• Requirement: Prior janitorial experience preferred, but not required
• Fixed Pay Rate: $14.20 per hour

Keep buildings clean and orderly. Perform heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans
• Dust and damp‑mop floors following approved procedures
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement
• Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete the task
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpet
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others
• Perform other duties as assigned
