As a Maintenance Technician at Fitch Irick, you’ll play a key role in keeping our properties running smoothly and safely. You’ll work with a team of dedicated professionals to maintain beautiful living spaces and ensure a high quality of life for our residents.
Your Impact- Property care: take ownership of the upkeep of grounds, buildings, and amenities, including cleaning, trash removal, and inspections.
- Preventative maintenance: conduct routine maintenance to keep HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems operating smoothly.
- Timely repairs: respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests, minimizing resident disruption.
- Unit turnovers: prepare units for new residents, ensuring each space is clean, functional, and meets Fitch Irick standards.
- Emergency response: handle emergency repairs efficiently and document incidents for insurance purposes.
- Compliance: keep the property compliant with all safety regulations and Fair Housing standards.
- Experience:
at least 1 year of general maintenance experience; property management experience is a plus. - Skills:
strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, proactive mindset. - Physical stamina: role involves lifting up to 100 lb, bending, stooping, and working outdoors in varying weather.
- Team player: reliable, collaborative, and able to take ownership of tasks.
- Certifications:
EPA/CFC certification preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to occasionally travel between properties.
