What You’ll DoAs Lead Custodian, you will be directly responsible for ensuring the facilities are clean, in working order, and performing regular and ongoing maintenance.
Your Responsibilities Will Include- Ensuring that the bathrooms, hallways, kitchens and other areas of the facility are kept clean on an ongoing basis.
- Performing routine maintenance activities including heavy cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and/or vacuuming floors.
- Responding to maintenance requests, including light repairs.
- Moving furniture when needed.
- Unpacking and stocking supplies for the cafeterias and kitchenette.
- Taking action without being asked or required to; achieving goals beyond job requirements; being proactive; taking prompt action to accomplish objectives.
- Monitoring and checking work to meet quality standards; demonstrating a high level of care and thoroughness; checking work to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Performing other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- High School Diploma or GED required. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Custodial, janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred.
- An active Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance (required).
- $24.72 Per Hour
- Monday – Friday (weekend work may be required)
- 7 AM – 3 PM
