Position Overview

Flat Rate Detail Shop Position(s) Available. Are you a team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service and who performs well in a fast paced work environment?

• Detail Specialist 1 – Some experience
• Detail Specialist 2 – 2+ years experience

• Drive, detail, and clean vehicles.
• Wash exterior using various cleaning solutions; wax and buff using cloths and buffing machines.
• Vacuum interior to remove dirt and debris; clean upholstery and surfaces.
• Use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to protect against spots and stains.
• Use different types of dyes, paints, and waxes to protect leather or fabric; may also clean engine compartments.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

• Frequent movement: bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and getting into/out of vehicles.
• Work may be outdoors under varying climate conditions.
• Handle numerous vehicles during the work shift.
• Use safe and OSHA approved waxes and cleaners.
• Frequent flexing of spine, hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Receive detailed information through oral communication.
• Require clear vision and hearing.
• Distinguish small imperfections such as streaks or smudges.
• Inspect own work and that of other team members.
• Work with sense of urgency to respect customers’ time.
• Strict adherence to uniform and grooming standards.

FLAT RATE

• A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Desire to treat each customer’s personal vehicle with great care and respect.
• Willingness to come to work on time and stay on task during the shift.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles.
• Availability to work Saturday or Sunday and holidays as necessary to meet production needs.
• Commitment to report to work on time and stay on task during shift.
