Employment Counsel (Litigation) - Bermuda

A leading offshore law firm is offering an opportunity for a commercially minded and technically strong employment lawyer to join its market-leading, top-ranked Tier 1 Dispute Resolution team in Bermuda.

This role is ideal for an experienced lawyer who enjoys high-quality advocacy work, advising senior stakeholders, and playing an active role in the growth of a well-established employment and immigration practice.

You will advise a diverse and high-profile client base
, including major international businesses, large local employers and senior executives, on a wide range of employment and immigration law matters
, including:

• Advisory work across all aspects of employment and immigration law
• Drafting and negotiating employment agreements
• Managing and conducting sensitive workplace investigations
• Advocacy before the Employment Tribunal
  , Human Rights Tribunal and/or Supreme Court
• Providing technically sound, responsive support to colleagues and partners

You will also:

• Contribute to the firm’s employment and immigration know-how
• Be actively involved in business development
  , including conferences, marketing initiatives and client seminars
• Take on managerial responsibility
  , mentoring and developing junior lawyers with partner support

• Commonwealth-qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years’ PQE
• Substantial experience advising on employment law in Bermuda or a Commonwealth jurisdiction
• Strong advocacy experience
• Commercial, collaborative and client-focused
