Member Service Specialist

Our Madison County Farm Bureau Office in Madison, VA has an excellent Full‑Time opportunity available for a career‑oriented, customer‑focused individual.

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

• Providing assistance to the county insurance staff in the solicitation, processing and servicing of our insurance products.
• Working with our County Board of Directors.
• Promoting Farm Bureau Bank.
• Assisting individuals/members with health insurance needs.

• Previous administrative support experience.
• Outstanding technical skills, including MS Office applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Property & Casualty license (within 6 months of hire) – paid for by company.
• Life & Health license (within 6 months of hire) – paid for by company.
• Previous insurance experience (preferred).
• Outside/inside sales experience (a plus).
• This is a W‑2 position only.

• Paid training for both licensing and standard sales training.
