PositionDescription:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate enterprise-level initiatives within a large financial services environment. This role will manage complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in enterprise project management, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, stakeholder management, and strategic program execution.
The Project Manager will partner with business leaders, technology teams, and operational stakeholders to drive project planning, execution, risk management, and reporting. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and experience delivering projects within large, matrixed organizations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end project management for enterprise initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams including technology, business, operations, and vendors
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, project meetings, and executive-level status updates
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Maintain project documentation including RAID logs, status reports, and project dashboards
- Track project milestones and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
- Communicate progress and key updates to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Support process improvements and best practices across the project management lifecycle
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management within large enterprise environments
- PMP certification required
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies
- Experience managing cross-functional enterprise programs and strategic initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders
- Strong experience with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within financial services, banking, or regulated environments preferred
