About the role:

Bixal is looking for a creative and detail-oriented UX Designer to shape a large-scale digital appointment scheduling platform for the federal government. This effort replaces outdated systems with a unified, secure, and accessible solution that improves efficiency for the public and government staff—supporting services like document processing, consular support, and emergency scheduling.

In this role, you’ll bring expertise in UX design, multilingual content design, UX writing, and accessibility to create intuitive, inclusive, and user-centered solutions. You’ll work closely with product managers, researchers, engineers, and other partners to translate insights into seamless user experiences.

Finalists should be prepared to present a portfolio of work demonstrating your knowledge, skills, and experience demonstrating the requirements listed in the Qualifications section below.

This is a full-time position contingent on contract award by our client, with a defined performance period of one year with two one-year option periods. The salary range for this role is $92,000 – $95,000. In the spirit of transparency, most offers tend to land near the midpoint of the range.
