Our client, an established IT Services company, is hiring a Junior Service Now Developer to join their team remotely on a 9-month contract. The successful candidate will support the development, implementation and maintenance of Service Now applications and processes.
Responsibilities- Develop, enhance and maintain web-based and client-server applications.
- Automate workflows and processes using OS scripts and SQL within relational database environments.
- Implement and integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software into existing systems.
- Plan, code, test and deploy software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and analyze program and production issues, documenting findings and test outcomes.
- Work closely with users to gather requirements and create comprehensive program specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
- At least 1 year of experience in programming or application development.
- Hands-on experience with Service Now.
- Willing to obtain Service Now certifications (Certified Administrator, Certified Application Developer) in the near future.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn, grow and contribute in a collaborative environment.
